The Big Bang Theory: Baby Wolowitz Is Finally Here! Find Out the Gender and Name

The Big Bang Theory‘s baby is finally here!

That’s right, in the CBS hit sitcom’s Dec. 15 episode, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) finally welcomed their first child, and it’s a Spoiler Warning! Yes, before the big reveal, we’re warning you now to click away if you’ve yet to watch the episode and don’t want to be spoiled. OK, ready?

Baby Wolowitz is a girl! And they named her Halley! If you’re wondering if she was named after the famous comet, you’d be “exactly” right, according to Howard.

And in sweet moment, Howard and Bernadette revealed to Raj (Kunal Nayyar) that they would like him to be the godfather. All together now: awww! Of course, this name after Raj worried that everyone in the group was hitting major milestones and he wasn’t. Oh, and after he accidentally revealed the baby’s gender to Howard. Oops!

Another sweet-yet-funny moment came in the final scene, when the group went to go see the baby for the first time and couldn’t figure out which one was the Wolowitz’s…until they heard a cry that sounded just like Wolowitz’s mom’s unmistakable voice (voiced by the late Carol Ann Susi).

With the group hitting major milestones and the show in its 10th season, there’s been speculation that TBBT may be ending in 2017.

“Look, next season, as it stands on our contract, could be the last season of Big Bang Theory,” Nayyar said prior to the start of the current season. “To be completely honest, I know people are gonna want to know what happens after season 10. I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
