TikTok Star Addison Rae Joins ‘She’s All That’ Remake
TikTok star Addison Rae Easterling is about to make her performing debut in “He’s All That,” a remake of the beloved ’90s traditional “She’s All That.”
Easterling, with 60 million followers on the platform, will tackle the function of Zackary Siler, performed by Freddie Prinz Jr. within the authentic movie. Mark Waters (“Mean Girls,” “Freaky Friday”) is directing, and R. Lee Fleming, who wrote the screenplay for the unique movie, is writing the recent spin from the angle of a teenage woman.
Original “She’s All That” producers Jennifer Gigbot and Andrew Panay will return as producers. Robert Iscove directed the unique.
The story will observe an influencer who decides to avenge herself by accepting a problem to show the college’s largest loser into the promenade king.
“This reboot is a welcomed step towards a new generation of Miramax storytelling, part of our greater strategy to leverage our existing library with fresh, re-imagined content in both film and TV,” Miramax CEO Bill Block mentioned.
The remake was first introduced in 2015, when Kenny Leon was connected to direct.
The authentic supporting solid included Prinz Jr., Paul Walker, Rachael Leigh Cooke, Kevin Pollak, Matthew Lillard, Anna Paquin, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, Usher Raymond, Lil’ Kim, Gabrielle Union, Dule Hill, Kieran Culkin, Elden Henson, Clea DuVall, Tim Matheson and Alexis Arquette.
A current Forbes article estimated that Easterling is the highest-paid TikTok star, and this casting makes Easterling one of many first TikTok stars to star in a significant movement image. She is represented by WME, Nixon Peabody and The Lede Company.
