TV Ratings: ‘Blue Bloods,’ ‘CSI: NY’ dominate for CBS
CBS did a tidy bit of business on Friday night with its drama lineup of “A Gifted Man,” “CSI: NY” and “Blue Bloods.” Not that the competition was stiff — both NBC and ABC ran sitcom re-runs ahead of news magazines “Dateline” and “20/20.”
CBS snagged 9.5 million viewers and a 6.1 rating/11 share in households for the night, finishing way ahead of NBC (4.4 million, 3.0/5), ABC (4.3 million, 3.0/5), FOX (3.4 million, 2.1/4) and The CW (1.6 million, 1.1/2).
CBS also dominated the adults 18-49 demographic with a 1.6 rating. FOX followed with 1.3, NBC with 1.2, ABC at 1.2 and The CW at 0.6. Friday hour-by-hour
