Fast national ratings for Monday, Nov. 7, 2011

Several shows that took ratings hits on Halloween bounced back some on Monday: “Two and a Half Men,” “Dancing With the Stars,” “Terra Nova” and “House” all improved on their performances from a week ago. “Castle,” meanwhile, fell some from last week, and NBC’s “Rock Center” was off a little in viewers from its premiere. The CW dropped as well.

ABC drew 15.8 million viewers and a 10.4 rating/16 share in households for the night, topping second-place CBS (11.35 million, 7.1/11) by a sizable margin in viewers. FOX came in third with 7.6 million viewers and a 4.5/7. NBC (4 million, 2.6/4) finished fourth, and The CW trailed with a little over 1.3 million viewers and a 0.9/1.

With “Two and a Half Men” leading the way, CBS scored the night’s best adults 18-49 rating with a 4.0. ABC took second with a 3.1, beating out FOX’s 2.7. NBC earned a 1.3 in the demo and The CW a 0.6.
