TV ratings: ‘Undercover Boss’ leads, ‘Nikita’ improves with move on quiet Friday

Fast National ratings for Friday, Nov. 30, 2012

The networks rebounded from last week’s Black Friday black hole and CBS was back on top in total viewers with new episodes of “Undercover Boss,” “CSI: NY” and “Blue Bloods.”

“Blue Bloods” was the night’s most watched show overall, while “Undercover Boss” posted the highest 18-49 demo score and reached a 2.0 in the 8:30 p.m. half-hour. (“Boss” was the only show of the night to even reach a 2.)

The CW’s struggling “Nikita” improved slightly by shifting back to its previous 8 p.m. timeslot. After not airing at all the last two weeks, “Nikita’s” fifth episode this season drew a season high in total viewers and matched its season high (0.4) in 18-49.

CBS led the night with 9.9 million viewers and a 6.4 rating/11
share in households. ABC followed with 6 million viewers and a 3.9/7 share. FOX (4 million viewers and 2.6/4) narrowly topped NBC (3.7 million, 2.6/4).
The CW (1.2 million, 0.8/1) trailed, per usual.

CBS and ABC tied for the lead in adults 18-49, each scoring a 1.6 rating in the
demographic. FOX followed with a 1.1. NBC drew a 0.9 and The CW 0.4.
