‘Undercover Boss’ ratings slip, ‘Shark Tank’ rebounds
CBS’ Undercover Boss waded into Friday nights last week and wiped the floor with its rivals. But last night things got competitive again.
Boss (8.6 million viewers, 1.9 adults 18-49 ratings) dropped 21 percent its second week in its new time slot (hey, welcome to Fridays! Isn’t it fun here?), while ABC’s Shark Tank (5.9 million, 1.8) rebounded 20 percent to its previous level. Boss still topped the night, including beating Fox’s Kitchen Nightmares (3.5 million, 1.5).
As for the scripted shows, the biggest change was CBS’ Gifted Man (9.1 million, 1.3), which fell 13 percent in its second week at 9 p.m. Otherwise, pretty standard: NBC’s Grimm (4.8 million, 1.5) returned steady and lead the 9 p.m. hour. Fox’s Fringe (3.1 million, 1.2) was up a tenth. CBS’ Blue Bloods (11.2 million, 1.7) was Blue Bloods. The CW had repeats.
