Victoria Beckham has officially left The Spice World. The singer-turned-designer will never return to the ’90s girl group that catapulted her to fame — not even for the world’s biggest sporting event.

Organizers of the 2012 Olympics hoping to book The Spice Girls for the opening ceremony will have to settle for just four members — Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Mel Chisholm — of the record-breaking quintet, Britain’s News of the World dished over the holiday weekend.

Victoria is not interested in joining them, despite husband David’s work to bring the Olympics to the home country, the tab claims. The mother-of-three, who reunited with the gals for a reunion tour in 2007, has shaken off her Posh Spice persona to become an established figure in the fashion world and has apparently told the other girls she has no future in music. Those in-the-know say Vic fears a comeback on a global stage would open Beckham up to more criticism about her singing.

“There is no way Victoria will perform with the Spice Girls ever again. She’s not a spoilsport but she doesn’t feel she’s a good enough performer to go back there again all these years on.”

Beckham has reportedly told her former bandmates that she would not be offended if they brought in a replacement for the event, but it is not clear whether Olympic organizers would book The Spice Girls without her.

Victoria is, however, expected to help produce stage musical chronicling the band’s rise to stardom.
