WME Names Cindy Garas Head of Human Resources

WME has appointed Cindy Garas because the company’s new head of HR.

Garas joins WME from Walmart and has been named senior vp of human assets. She begins in her function efficient instantly and will likely be based mostly out of the Beverly Hills workplace.

In her function, Garas will work intently with WME management and function a member of Endeavor’s world human assets management workforce.

She may have oversight over HR throughout the company and for the groups within the Beverly Hills, London, Nashville, New York and Sydney places of work.

Garas joins the company from Walmart, the place she offered senior HR management to the U.S. advertising and media teams. She beforehand led human assets for Jet.com, and he or she has different expertise as an HR government with Under Armour, Ralph Lauren, the National Basketball Association, Macmillan Publishing and Wiley Publishing.

WME’s appointment of Garas comes on the heels of the company hiring Giselle Ruiz as its head of inclusion for the company. Ruiz, who can also be based mostly out of the Beverly Hills workplace, joined the company earlier this month and was a former government with TikTok.
