No rift between Justin Bieber and his mother, says rep

Canadian singer Justin Bieber’s representative has denied tabloid reports the teen sensation has fallen out with his overprotective mother.

It was recently reported that the 17-year-old Baby hitmaker is desperate to detach from his mother Pattie Mallette due to several arguments over his lifestyle, reports The Daily Star.

“Bieber wants to enjoy the perks of being one of the hottest stars on the planet, and Pattie’’s trying to keep him grounded,” an insider told America’s National Enquirer.

“Justin’’s been complaining non-stop about how controlling his mom is. He loves her, but he hates being treated like a child. He’’s gotten a taste of freedom, and now he wants more,” the insider added.

The report also alleged that Mallette rejected Bieber’s friendships with Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.

However, Bieber’s representative told Gossip.com: “All the report is unfounded and false”.
