Actress Kristen Stewart has reportedly topped a list of actresses being considered by studio Universal for the lead role in “Snow White and the Huntsman”.

The movie tells the story of a huntsman who teaches Snow White how to fight her evil stepmother after he defies her orders to kill a young girl in the woods.
Contactmusic.com reports, a number of high profile actors have been linked to the role of the huntsman including Tom Hardy and Johnny Depp but “Lord of the Rings” star Viggo Mortensen is currently favourite to land the part.
According to earlier reports, actress Charlize Theron is being set to play the part of evil queen Ravenna in the film.
The film is expected to be released Dec 21 next year.
