Following this weekend’s cliffhanger season finale, “The Name of the Doctor,” the BBC has announced that a new season of “Doctor Who” will air in 2014 with Steven Moffat returning as lead writer and executive producer. Returning cast members, however, will likely not be revealed until after the show’s 50th anniversary special, set to air November 23.
“Doctor Who” returns for a run of eight new adventures this Saturday (March 30) on BBC America and the big mystery is the Doctor’s new companion Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman).
