cw logo The CW Plans Arrow , Beauty and the Beast and The Carrie DiariesThe CW has officially given the pilot order for three new television series, Deadline reports: “Arrow”, “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Carrie Diaries”.

Originally reported last week, the “Arrow” series will adapt DC Comics’ Green Arrow character, dropping the emerald adjective from the title. Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg are writing and executive producing.
