Demian Bichir has signed on to join Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy in the upcoming comedy from Bridesmaids director Paul Feig, now titled The Heat. Deadline reports that the Savages star will play an FBI agent.
In the film, Bullock’s character, also working with the FBI, forms an uneasy partnership with McCarthy’s Boston police officer.

Actor Demian Bichir is likely to make waves when more people start seeing his performance in Chris Weitz’s drama A Better Life when it opens on June 24, and Oliver Stone must have been duly impressed as he’s added the actor to his ensemble cast for Savages , his adaptation of Don Winslow’s novel which will start filming on July 6.
