Miley Cyrus has staged a getaway from the Lifetime/History Channel miniseries “Bonnie & Clyde.”
The “Hannah Montana” star had been in talks to play Bonnie Parker in the project, which will retell the story of the infamous 1930s bank robbers. She has now dropped out, TVLine reports. No one is saying what led her to bolt.

Veteran costume designer Theadora Van Runkle has died at the age of 83.
