Francis Ford Coppola is returning to his “Godfather” roots
No, the legendary director isn’t making a sequel or prequel or reboot. But he will be writing and directing a new, decades-spanning Italian-American saga.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie will be “a coming-of-age story that focuses on a boy and girl in their late teens” and will be set from the 1930s through the 1960s.
