The Golden Globe nominations were announced, with Birdman and Boyhood well represented.The SAG Awards nominations were also announced, with the same two movies on top.

Names were revealed for the characters in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer. Meanwhile, new Star Wars attractions at Disney theme parks will be based on the new movies only.
