Iron Man 2 takes place only six months after Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) revealed his identity as Iron Man. Mickey Rourke stars as a Russian villain named Whiplash.
Iron Man 2 is directed by Jon Favreau, who previously directed Elf and the first Iron Man. The screenplay for this was written by Justin Theroux. Paramount will be bringing Iron Man 2 to theaters on May 7th, 2010 this summer.
