Although it was previously announced that musician Jack White would make his debut as a cinematic composer on Gore Verbinski’s upcoming The Lone Ranger, Indiewire reports that scheduling conflicts have forced him to leave the project and that Hans Zimmer will serve as his replacement.

Zimmer has previously worked with Verbinski on films like Pirates of the Caribbean, The Weather Man and
