LOS ANGELES — “Iron Man 3″ was the heavy-lifter at theaters with a colossal overseas debut that overshadowed a gang of mercenary bodybuilders in a sleepy pre-summer weekend at the domestic box office.

The Marvel Studios superhero sequel starring Robert Downey Jr. got a head-start on its domestic launch next Friday with a $ 195.3 million opening in 42 overseas markets, distributor Disney reported Sunday.

mrfeeny Mr. Feeny is Back for Girl Meets WorldWilliam Daniels will reprise his beloved role as Mr. Feeny in Disney Channel’s upcoming “Girl Meets World,” reports TVLine. The site says that it is not clear what function the character will serve on the “Boy Meets World” spin-off.

The new show is said to find Cory (Ben Savage) as a seventh grade history teacher, echoing qualities of Daniels’ Mr. Feeny on the original show
