Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has been discharged from hospital and is resting at her mansion in Bel-Air, California.

Gabor, 93, was released on August 11 from the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Los Angeles, where her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt said she was supposed to spend just one week, the Daily Star reported.

The actress was hospitalised after breaking her hip on July 17 in a fall, but her stay there was extended to four weeks after she suffered a bad reaction to morphine and later developed an infection after undergoing hip-replacement surgery.

Von Anhalt has reportedly purchased a special 17,000 pounds hospital bed for Gabor to complete her recovery at home.
