Synopsis: “Joan, the ultimate New Yorker, has a glamorous apartment, her own jewelry company, and at night, she performs at comedy clubs. But she misses her family. So Joan makes the life-altering decision to move to California to be closer to Melissa and her grandson, Cooper. Meanwhile, in Malibu, California, Melissa has a great kid, and a loving and solid relationship with her live-in boyfriend, Jason (that Joan doesn’t know about!) Will Joan and Melissa make it work?
