“Bachelorette” Jillian Harris “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” Co-Host

Ty Pennington’s getting some company: Jillian Harris is best remembered as the spunky Canadian who found love with businessman Ed Swiderski as star of Season Five of The Bachelorette. Now she’s heading back to reality TV. Instead of hunting for true love, Jillian will be helping dreams come true for deserving families as co-host of the upcoming season of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, RealityTVWorld.com said this week.

“I couldn’t think of a better place or a better way to give back; to give love, support, and hope. I really feel like the world needs a lot of love right now, and to be a part of this and see others give their time and love so generously, it is truly inspiring,” the restaurant interior designer said when she acted as a guest host on the show in February.

The ex-Bachelorette will be joined by former Pimp My Ride host Xzibit and interior designer Leigh Anne Tuohy – the inspiration behind Sandra Bullock’s Oscar-winning biopic The Blind Side — for the eighth season of the inspirational series.
