One of “Game of Thrones” biggest strengths is its ability to tell dozens of different stories taking place all across the world, from Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) in Meereen to Jon (Kit Harington) at the wall to Cersei (Lena Headey) in King’s Landing.
Unfortunately, it also means there are several characters who’ve never met and even more that haven’t seen each other since the pilot. Seven hells, it took the Stark’s six whole years to get one single reunion!
Now that the show is wrapping up, however, and we’ve only got two shortened seasons to resolve all the various plot lines, it’s time for all these characters to start uniting under one final story arc. As for Season 7, we’ve got a few specific reunions in mind that we’re just dying to see.

Olenna & Tyrion
The fact that Olenna (Diana Rigg) is out for revenge and possibly allying with Varys (Conleth Hill) means we’ve got a good chance she’ll cross paths with Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) this year. We’d pay good money to see Tyrion’s reaction if Olenna were to ever confess that she was the one who killed Joffrey. Here’s hoping the truth comes out this year.
Jon & Arya
Though we only got a short peek at this relationship in Season 1, it’s clear that Arya (Maisie Williams) was one of the siblings Jon was closest to during his time at Winterfell. Considering how beautiful his reunion with Sansa (Sophie Turner) was — especially considering she didn’t even like him that much — we’re probably going to bawl our eyes out when Jon gets Arya back.
Tyrion & Sansa
Remember when these two were married? Remember when they were kind of friends, too? If Jon ad Daenerys are set to meet up in Season 7, we can only assume Sansa and Tyrion will bump into each other too, and we’d love to see what their dynamic looks like when she’s no longer the frightened child and he’s no longer the drunk imp. Their history together can only help Jon and Dany’s alliance, right?
Arya & Nimeria
It’s a sad state of affairs, but the reunion we want most is between a lost little girl and her pet dire wolf. Arya has been headed down a seriously dark path, and she’s turning into someone we don’t even recognize (sometimes literally). Here’s hoping Nimeria can track her down and remind her of the girl she used to be.

Cersei & Tyrion
The three Lannister siblings have been separated for a couple years now, but we don’t imagine the animosity between them has faded very much. Cersei is likely still bitter about Jaime helping Tyrion out of the city, and even more so at Tyrion for “killing” Joffrey (Jack Gleeson). Now that Cersei is the ruling queen and Tyrion is back with Daenerys … let’s just say we’re expecting some fireworks when these two finally reunite.
Sansa & Olenna
Sure, Olenna kind of used her as a drug mule in her plot to kill Joffrey, but let’s let bygones be bygones. Olenna had a soft spot for Sansa and clearly wanted good things for her, when all was said and done. Plus, we can only imagine how heartbroken Sansa was when she heard news of Margaery’s (Natalie Dormer) death. These two would make perfect allies in the war against the Lannisters.
Jaime & Brienne
Their mini-reunion in Season 6 was just not enough, we need Brienne (Gwendolyn Christie) and Jaime to get some serious screen time together in Season 7. Even though Cersei has proved herself pretty insane, and it’s pretty impossible to imagine Jaime ever siding against her, we can still hope that he’ll be inspired to do the right thing and side with Brienne in the war to come.
