Amir Misses “Raavan” premier

Amir Khan was supposed to attend the London premiere of “Raavan” which took place in the British Film Institute in London’s Southbank. But that didn’t happen due to unavoidable circumstances. Had that happened, London would have been blessed with a site that even fans in India crave after. A site, starring 3 of the biggest stars of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan together. And no doubt, the huge crowd that thronged the British Institute to catch a glimpse of the megastar Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Shahrukh Khan together, would have practically resulted in a stampede with Amir Khan joining the star studded event. But Amir had to skip the event due to his mother’s birthday, for which he had to fly back to India.

While Sharukh was invited by Big B and Junior B both, Amir received the invitation from Bachchan sa’ab himself. “Amitji invited me for the premiere of ‘Raavan’ in London when I was there. But I had to come here for my mother’s birthday on June 13 and go to Pune to be with her. However, I wish the movie gets success and all my best wishes to Abhishek and Aishwarya,” said Aamir.
