Demi Lovato Breaks Down Over Split From Joe Jonas

Life without Joe Jones is taking its toll on Demi Lovato.

The Sonny with a Chance cutie suffered a recent meltdown over her breakup with the commitment-phobic Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas, according to frends of the teen singer/actress. Snoops say Demi burst in to tears at a party last week because she’s desperate to rekindle her romance with Joe.

Lovato, 17, and Jonas 20, split in May after several months of dating. Joe later issued a statement confirming that it was he who ended the union.

“She just wouldn’t stop crying. It’s like it all just hit her at once. She kept saying how much she misses him, and how she wants him back… It was crazy how emotional she was,” a Lovato pal divulges. “She puts on a good front that everything is okay, but in reality she’s obviously still hurting. It’s sad, but we know she will get through it.”

Demi will be forced to come face to face with her lingering feelings for Joe later this month. The Jonas Brothers are heading out on tour with label mate and fellow Disney Channel star Lovato, along with other members of the Camp Rock clan, next week.
