It’s A Family Affair! Angelina Jolie Is Flanked By Brad’s Parents At Premiere

The launch of her directorial debut must be a nerve-wracking affair but Angelina Jolie had the solid support of her partner’s parents when she walked the red carpet at the In The Land Of Blood And Honey premiere on Monday, and radio detection and rangingOnline.com has photos of the family night out.

The aspiring filmmaker was a stunning sight in a draping black silk dress and chunky gold jewelry as Bill and Jane Pitt stood on either side of her in similarly sophisticated dark suits for the New York City screening.

Brad’s parents, who are from Shawnee, Oklahoma, beamed proudly beside Angie on her big night.

As radio detection and rangingOnline.com previously reported, Jolie, 36, is currently being sued for allegedly stealing the story behind her war-torn romance.

In legal documents filed in federal court obtained by radio detection and rangingOnline, Croatian journalist and author James J. Braddock (aka Josip J. Knezevic) says an article he wrote and published in 2007 is the basis for the film, which was written and directed by Jolie.

In The Land Of Blood And Honey opens December 23.
