Highlight on New Movie Released DVD
Savitar is back on “The Flash” — and he’s already causing major drama for the team. After returning in Wally’s (Keiynan Lonsdale) vision at the end of “Attack on Central City,” March 7 brings the newest episode, “The Wrath of Savitar” — and with it comes a very tense moment between Kid Flash and his mentor-slash-possible future brother-in-law Barry (Grant Gustin).
In the exclusive clip from the episode above, Team Flash learns about Wally’s visions — and that for the first time Savitar physically manifested himself to the young speedster. That knowledge alone is all it takes for Barry to bench Wally indefinitely.
“If Savitar is using Wally the same way he used Julian, how do we know he’s not spying on us through Wally right now?” Barry asks. And while our initial reaction is disbelief, much like Wally’s, what Barry says is making sense.

The team has no idea how Savitar’s powers work — but if he is using Wally as a spy, there’s some very valuable information he could use against them. Still, Barry might have considered being a bit gentler about the whole thing.

After all, Wally doesn’t look like he’s taking the news too well. Given how fresh his powers still are — and that they’re approaching the level of Barry’s and will likely surpass them — it’s hard to believe Wally is going to voluntarily sit this fight out. After all, Savitar is using his own brain against him.
As it becomes clear exactly what the speed god is using him for, will Wally be a trustworthy member of the team? We’re almost afraid of the answer.
“The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
