Disgraced former Miss California Carrie Prejean — who became a right-wing matyr after voicing her disdain for same-sex marriage during the 2009 Miss USA pageant — is expecting her first child with new husband Kyle Boller; this as her attorney prepares to wage war against the organization that ousted her.
Ah — just want the world needs: Another conservative Republican.
The sun-soaked beauty queen tied the knot with the Oakland Raiders quarterback in July and started trying for a family about a month after the big day.
“We are just so excited. I’m due in May on my grandmother’s birthday. She recently passed away, so that’s very special to us,” Carrie, 23, told FOX News in an interview Wednesday. “I’m trying to stay healthy, but it has been tough. I’ve been getting night sickness. We’ve started thinking about names, but we are keeping it to ourselves for right now. It has been fun looking at baby books,” she said.
The couple intends to find out the sex of their unborn child next week and Boller, 29, couldn’t be more ecstatic.
“I have the most beautiful pregnant wife ever, we are so in love and this was just the best news when we found out a couple of weeks ago,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prejean’s lawyer Charles LiMandri has sued Miss California USA executives Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler and their lawyer accusing them all of feeding top secret information — especially tidbits about a Prejean solo sex tape — to various news outlets in particular, TMZ. According to documents filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday, LiMandri claims the two sides agreed that everything that took place during the mediation was to be kept private.
But somehow, LiMandri claims, accurate details involving everything from negotiation tactics to the fact that Carrie’s mom actually watched the footage of Carrie’s solo exploits somehow made its way to the gossip site. LiMandri says he was particularly shocked at how quickly TMZ was able to publish accurate details, proving — to him at least — that there was a leak.
“Moments after the Settlement Agreements were signed, TMZ posted a report that the parties had settled, and quoted the agreed upon joint statement…”
