Miley Cyrus Celebrates 18th Birthday

Look out world, Miley Cyrus is an adult! The former Disney Queen celebrated her milestone 18th birthday on Tuesday.

And you know what that means: Voting and enough legal smoking to leave you lungless.

Miley’s been doing “adult” stuff for years now (Must we remind you of those inappropriate MySpace pictures, circa 2007?), so turning 18 shouldn’t make too much of a difference to the singer/actress’ usual schedule of wearing no clothes and leaking nearly-nude images of herself to the internet. But just for good measure, the Disney starlet celebrated coming of age by locking lips with teen star Avan Jogia and chain smoking during her birthday bash at Hollywood hotspot Trousadale.

It’s safe to say there’s one big name celebrity who was conveniently left off the guest list for this week’s festivities — Miley’s godmother and entertainment legend Dolly Parton. Dolly”s not a fan of Miley’s sometimes raunchy image, which sometimes includes lap-dancing on men in ther forties, and she fears the young star she’s known since childhood is now “surrounded” by advisers who are steering her career in the wrong direction.

“Hopefully she didn’t get that from me because I certainly never encouraged her to do any of that… I think she’s just in a cross – she’s just kind of in a crosswind trying to overcome the Hannah Montana little girl, and trying to become a young woman… I don’t know if she’s surrounded by people that are helping (her to) not make the wise decisions…”
