Twitter gets a new face

The Microblogging commotion Twitter has a trend to frequently bring something new and fresh for its fans .it is not much old update when in July 2009, new Twitter homepage had been launched that revamped again to throw light on the global latest trends and news. And now the Twitter has again refreshed its homepage recently.

The latest Twitter home page includes recent trends and famous tweets in real time. It also has real time search options and an option called “Top Tweets” that features tweets from high profile Twitter users like celebrities. The tweets chosen to be displayed on the home page are selected algorithmically. This dynamic homepage include a ‘See who’s here’ section which shows new Twitter users to some of the celebrities and brands.

About the homepage upgrade, Twitter in a blog post said, “All of our recent changes embrace the notion that Twitter is not just for status updates anymore. It’s a network where information is exchanged and consumed at a rapid clip every second of the day. With so much being shared, we know that there’s something of value for everyone. People who internalize the value of Twitter understand the power of this simple medium. But it hasn’t been easy to make that value transparent or obvious for curious folks coming to Twitter for the first time.”
