ABC is pulling the plug on My Generation after just two episodes.
On Friday, network suits announced that the freshman drama –about a group of high school pals 10 years after graduation — will succeed FOX’s Lone Star as the second show cancelled this 2010-2011 season.
The documentary-style series debuted to lukewarm reviews and only 5.17 million viewers last month — despite being gifted with the Thursday night pre-Grey’s Anatomy 8PM timeslot. By its second episode, ratings for My Generation sank even lower, drawing a disappointing 3.82 million viewers.
It’s still unclear which ABC series producers will use to fill the now vacant slot in its Thursday night lineup.
