Amitabh Bachhan no match for Sachin on Twitter

Super star Amitabh Bachhan is no match to cricket icon Sachin Tendular as far as attracting the fans in Twitter is the concern. Both the legends of their respective fields have joined the social site a few days back.

Amitabh Bachhan has started his Twitter account and has clocked a following of 37,500 fans on the first day of opening the account. When it is compared with the first day of Sachin’s followings, AB pales and falls way back. Sachin had registered a whopping 79000 on his first day of starting Twitter account. He finally had opened the account with the social site early this month after months of persuading by family and friends and got massages from celebrities.

Like Sachin, the 67 year Bollywood icon is excited on writing on the Twitter, though he has been writing blogs.

“Day 1 on Twitter, Day 757 on blogs, Day 138 from the year… endless days of love and affection to those that count and follow… love,” Amitabh started his Twitter with these words and added that “33,341 followers in a few hours of starting! Tweedy baby I love you!! Keeps it rolling,” he added. Abhishek and Sachin are the celebrities he is currently following on the site.
