Highlight on New Movie Released DVD
With the return of “Arrow” came the drama surrounding the impostor Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), which occupied much of the team’s energy for the episode. But there still one very important obstacle they’ll need to get through — the betrayal of Evelyn (Madison McLaughlin), who was working with Prometheus.
As the team comes to terms with the fact that someone they trusted with their lives turned on them, two of them will feel especially burned by how it all fell apart.

“It absolutely shakes [Oliver’s] confidence in the team. But I think fundamentally it also shakes his confidence in himself and his mission,” executive producer Wendy Mericle says. “For him, all of this is feeding into the bigger and more global question of his legacy — but it does has repercussions for the team. They were all very close, and I think Rory, Curtis and Rene never saw it coming. They never would have guessed, especially not her. She was so innocent and kind and open-hearted. To have that level of betrayal occur on their watch is devastating.”
She continues, “And I think it will hit Felicity as well, because she recruited Evelyn.”
At the end of the day though, they have a mission — and Prometheus isn’t going to stop to allow Team Arrow to lick their wounds. After all, his carnage feeds on making things personal, and at this point he has the team exactly where he wants them. So it’s going to be up to Oliver and Felicity to keep it together.

“They have a job to do so they’ll move on,” Mericle explains. “But I think it is with a certain degree of caution.”
