Aspyr Is Going to Launch the Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition

The GDC, LucasArts revealed its plans concerning the Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition. The game will be created for the Mac by Aspyr and it will be available through the GameAgent that is considered to be an online store. The price tag of the game is $10.

The Special Edition consists of two versions of the game. The first version is regarded as the original game that, initially, was launched in 1990. The second version is an “enhanced” version of the original that comes with new voice acting as well as redrawn art.

The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is created for Intel Macs only. It also requires OS 10.5 Leopard or 10.6 Snow Leopard. According to Aspyr, Macs that comes with built-in Intel graphics cannot be supported.
