In somber tones and with eyes welling up with tears, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars began the season premiere episode Monday night by sharing their thoughts about Russell Armstrong‘s suicide death.
Sometime speaking directly to the camera and at other time, addressing each other, Adrienne Maloof, Kim Richards, Kyle Richards, Camille Grammer and Lisa Vanderpump talked about the tragic death of their castmate Taylor Armstrong‘s husband last month.

Taylor had filed for divorce just days before Russell hanged himself at their home. Since then, as RadarOnline.com has been reporting, the fact that the couple was in a desperate financial situation has come to light.
“I don’t think she (Taylor) was aware of the financial mess they were in,” Lisa Vanderpump offered during the special four-minute segment.

The show then picked up with its planned season premiere episode, but without any scenes including Russell.
