Blake Lively Christian Louboutin Shoe On Sale Next Month

Blake Lively wowed London overnight. Clad in a strapless blue frock, the stylish Gossip Girl beamed as she stood boldly on the red carpet at the UK’s annual Elle Style Awards on Monday evening. As it turns out, TV’s Serena van der Woodsen had good reason to smile: Shoe designer Christian Louboutin has named one of his signature hoofers after the actress.

Talk about the ultimate fashion compliment! After all, Louboutin was the Go-To Footwear Expert for the Ultimate Fictional Style Goddess, Carrie Bradshaw.

“I went to [Louboutin’s] atelier and I was walking around, like every shoe here is so beautiful and I saw this one pair and I said: ‘I’ve never seen anything like it,’” Blake first told Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa during an appearance on ABC’s Live! last September. “He said: ‘Do you love it?’ I said: ‘I want to sleep with it under my pillow every night’ and he said: ‘We’re naming it the Blake then.’ It was insane. It’s like my greatest accomplishment.”

Now we’re getting our first look at the shoe. The Blake is accentuated by multi-colored straps fastened with buttons. The sole, of course, is pillar-box red. The show will be available at boutiques in the US and UK next month, where it will retail for roughly 800 smacks.

Just last month, Lively was tipped as the face of Karl Lagerfeld’s new Chanel Mademoiselle handbag campaign.
