It served as a soundtrack when the Yankees won the World Series. It even replaced Frank Sinatra’s classic “New York, New York” at the Preakness. Now Glee’s own New Directions has recorded a cover of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ award-winning Big Apple anthem, “Empire State of Mind.”
The cast of Glee appeared on Sirius Radio Tuesday morning, where they shed their inestimable awesomeness on the Jigga/A. Keys hit single, covering the monster smash for listeners of The Morning Mash Up.
