Charlie Sheen Eyes $10 Million Book Deal; Sits For ABC News Interview

Charlie Sheen has granted an interview to ABC News and is looking to sell a tell-all book for $10 million after his award-winning CBS sitcom was put on indefinite hiatus last week.

In a chat with TMZ.com over the weekend, Sheen promised that the book would be a behind-the-scenes memoir of his eight seasons as Charlie Harper, a hedonistic jingle writer, on TV’s Two and A Half Men. The trouble-prone star he plans on revealing “the good and the bad” and “naming names” in the book, which he’s already started writing. He even has a working title: When the Laughter Stopped.

Sheen’s personal and professional life has been in trouble after he was hospitalized following a drug and alcohol -soaked party with pornstars last month. His stint in “home rehab” came to a screeching halt — along with his employment — after the star publicly slammed Two and A Half Men creator Chuck Lorre in an re after production of the show was shut down for the rest of the season. Sheen called Lorre a “turd” and a “clown” in a several interviews that went viral last Thursday.

Additionally, Sheen will appear with ABC News’ Andrea Canning, in a special one-hour edition of 20/20 on Tuesday, March 1 at 10 PM EST/7 PM PST. Sheen, 45, will discuss his recent controversial rants about Lorre that led CBS and Warner Bros. Television to stop production. Portions of the interview also will air on Good Morning America on Monday and Tuesday.
