Dana Carvey Mike Myers “Wayne’s World” Reunion On “SNL”

We were so excited about Justin Bieber’s surprise on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live that we almost forgot that SNL alum Mike Myers reunited with pal Dana Carvey for a revival of their classic Wayne’s World sketch.

Guest host Carvey and Myers seemed to pick up right where they left off as they discussed the 2011 Oscar nominees in character as Midwest cable access hosts Wayne and Garth. The original sketches were a hit on SNL in the late 1980s when Myers and Carvey were both featured cast members. The duo went on to star in two Wayne’s World movies in the early ’90s.

Saturday’s appearance was the first time that Wayne and Garth have popped up as a pair since guest-starring in a spoof for the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.
