Snuggie, the blanket with arms that’s become a national phenomenon, is offering you the chance to direct the brands next TV spot. Hey, it couldn’t be any worse than the latest Snuggie commercial — a YouTube spot titled “Snugarena,” based on the 1996 pop craze “Macarena.”

We don’t make this stuff up.

Submit an original commercial, short film, parody or documentary on the infamous Snuggie to SnuggieFanClub.com and you could be one of three “lucky” finalists to win a trip to New York City, the entire line of 2010 Snuggie blankets, and up to $5,000 in cash.
