Eighties pop star George Michael has been arrested after smashing his car into a London storefront,
according to reports.
Michael, 47, was held on suspicion of being unfit to drive after his Range Rover crashed into Snappy Snaps following London’s Gay Pride parade on Sunday, The Sun reported.
The front door of the photo store in Hampstead was left buckled and the windows smashed from the force of the impact. The troubled singer –- who only just started driving again after a two year ban –- was arrested at around 3.35AM and released on bail until next month.
The former WHAM! singer’s latest scrap with the law has once again raised concern about his stability.
He was arrested in September 2008 after being caught in a public restroom in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana. The year before, he was handed 100 hours community service for DUI after being found slumped at the wheel of his Mercedes by police.
