Gilmore Girls Gets a Racy New Trailer With Child Labor & No Underwear

Just one week to go until new Gilmore Girls episodes are in our eyeballs, and Netflix has released another, much racier trailer complete with child labor, no underwear, and, of course, coffee.

No need to be alarmed, this is still the Gilmore Girls you know and love! We’re sure there is adequate explanation for the fact that Lorelai and Rory seem to have employed two small children to be their personal butlers and that there is an entire storyline dedicated to the fact that Rory doesn’t have any underwear.

“Any outfit you wear without underwear is going to be your lucky outfit,” Lorelai advises her, and she’s probably right.

The trailer features a few tidbits we’ve seen in past promos—the fact that they’ve ordered enough food for an actual army, smoldering glances from Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), Dean (Jared Padalecki) and Logan (Matt Czuchry)—but we also see plenty of new footage.

There’s more about how each of the Gilmore women seems to be at a crossroads in life—Lorelai (Lauren Graham) figuring out what she wants to in her relationship, Rory (Alexis Bledel) discovering her true calling, and Emily (Kelly Bishop) learning how to live without Richard—and a lot more with familiar faces like Lane (Keiko Agena) and Paris (Liza Weil). (There’s also a few more scenes with Jess. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!)

Bonus Bunhead spotting: Bailey De Young is part of a group of thirtysomethings living back in Stars Hollow (much like it appears Rory is).

Oh, and don’t forget the coffee. “Everything in my life has something to do with coffee. I believe in another life I was coffee,” Lorelai says.

All four episodes of Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life hit Netflix on Friday, Nov. 25.
