‘Gilmore Girls’ trailer answers 3 questions & leaves us with 2 more

Netflix dropped the first official trailer for “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” on Tuesday (Oct. 25) and it is jam-packed with goodies for fans — and it has definitely answered a few of our questions, while still leaving us with a couple biggies that will undoubtedly go unanswered until Nov. 25.

How is Emily coping with Richard’s death?

The answer is — it’s really hard on her, which is completely understandable. As Emily (Kelly Bishop) says, she was part of the marriage for 50 years and she isn’t quite sure what to do with herself now.

RELATED: What do the new ‘Gilmore Girls’ photos tell us about the revival?

Does putting a comically large painting of Richard (Edward Herrmann) on the wall help? Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) are rightly horrified, but Emily seems pleased. Hey, whatever helps you get through the day.

Is Rory teaching at Chilton?

A previously released photo led fans to believe that she’s back at her alma mater and a quick clip in the trailer seems to reinforce that theory.

Though it also kind of looks like Paris (Liza Weil) is there too? Is she teaching, or in some sort of administrative role, which sounds about right for everyone’s favorite type-A overachiever.

‘Bunheads’ comes to Miss Patty’s

Oooh, is this how guest star Sutton Foster, formerly of Amy Sherman-Palladino’s other beloved show “Bunheads,” makes her appearance? Seems likely — it’s hard to tell, but one of the girls in front looks a lot like the Tony-winning actress.

Why is Kirk at Friday night dinner?!?

What in God’s name would cause Lorelai to invite Kirk (Sean Gunn) to dinner at her mother’s house? We can hardly wait to find out.

Which one of Rory’s old flames looks the best?

A debate that shall rage from now until the end of time. But at least the gang’s all here — and Jess (Milo Ventimiglia), Dean (Jared Padalecki) and Logan (Matt Czuchry) all look as though they’ve grown into fine men.

“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” drops on Netflix Nov. 25.
