Halle Berry, hallelujah.
The Oscar winner has officially made the crossover into the world of music by making a special appearance on one of Bruno Mars‘ tracks off of his new album, 24K Magic.
Berry can be heard on the song called “Calling All My Lovelies” alongside the Grammy Award-winning crooner.
Mars’ album dropped today and has already garnered a ton of attention with the release of the hit single named after the album.
The “Locked Out of Heaven” singer recently returned from a four-year break from the music biz and came right back onto the scene by performing at this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show with none other than Beyoncé and Coldplay.
Earlier this month, in an interview with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 show on Apple Music Mars recalled his earlier days starting out as an artist.
[Those days] sucked, but in a beautiful way. Without getting dropped, I might not be here. All of these things you have to go through. It ain’t easy. If it was easy everyone would be doing it.”
He continued, “The worst absolute moment was telling everybody I got dropped. I’m broke. I’m in debt. Walking into a room saying, ‘Yeah, I’m a signed Motown artist,’ then walking in and saying, ‘I’m a dropped Motown artist.’ But I’m not blaming anybody over there.”
