So far, Season 3 of “How to Get Away with Murder” has been its usual sexy, sassy and secretive self, driving us nuts with intense love scenes and a pretty huge mystery. We’ve been reaching for the stress ball every time a new person has been revealed to be alive, and we’ve somehow managed to weather the storm this fall.
However, the one thing we can’t bear any longer is the separation between Laurel (Karla Souza) and Frank (Charlie Weber).

Now that Frank is back in town (and breaking into Laurel’s apartment), the separation seems to be over in the literal sense, but according to Souza, we probably shouldn’t expect them to rekindle their romantic flame anytime soon.
“Laurel hasn’t seen him in months,” Souza tells Entertainment Weekly. “She starts basically telling him to get out. But then Annalise gets on the phone and she’s like, ‘If he leaves your house, I’ll kill him.’ So then Laurel has to have him overnight knowing that she’s with Wes. I cannot even imagine Laurel having [sex with him], she has some sort of dignity and integrity, but I can’t say that in the future, who knows what the future holds.”
We’re willing to bet that after everything they’ve been through, Souza is right about the likelihood of a Laurel and Frank hookup. Ergo, it’s pretty definitive that the father of Laurel’s unborn child in the flash forward is Wes (Alfred Enoch), who is alive and well and stabbing Annalise in the back.

While it’s definitely reassuring that Laurel is going to keep a firm grasp on her dignity, we do hope that she and Frank manage some kind of reconciliation eventually.
They make a good couple, despite all of their issues, and they have the best chemistry on the show by far.
All of this speculation about a potential re-coupling is contingent on Frank not being under the sheet at the end of the night, and Laurel not dying in the hospital. With only a few episodes left before the mid-season finale, we’re running of time to find out who’s safe and who’s dead.
“How to Get Away with Murder” airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
