eScan has introduced its latest version for security of Linux based systems called eScan for Linux version 3.0. eScan claims that it would be an ideal solution for both Linux desktops as well as file servers.

This version of eScan flaunts its efficient antivirus engine which allows quick scan where latest threats are detected in a better way.

It has the capability to read inside the data stream that is it virtually scans all types of files like zipped and archived files and detect threats efficiently.

The use can also run a preset action such as disinfecting the file or deleting the infected file or renaming it. General features like scheduling an automatic scanning and downloading of updates are also supported by eScan for Linux version 3.0.

This software is recommended for basic Linux distro’s like Debian, Fedora, RedHat, Slackware, Suse and Ubuntu.
