Is Lady Gaga Still Using Drugs?

Lady Gaga came in an egg and left a three-time winner at Sunday night’s 2011 Grammy Awards — and in an interview with 60 Minutes’ Anderson Cooper that aired earlier in the evening, the pop tart was very candid about her continued drug use.

“I still smoke a lot of pot when I write music. So, I’m not gonna, like, sugar coat it for ‘60 Minutes’ that I’m some, like, sober human being, ‘cause I’m not. However, “I don’t want to encourage kids to do drugs,” the quirky pop tart told the silver-haired Cooper.

Australian tabloid New Weekly, on the other hand, reports Lady Gaga has a dubious source for all her artistic inspiration. The former coke addict is reportedly back on the drug in a big way and worrying friends and family with her habit.

“The idea for her meat costume was the result of a drug-fuelled binge that went wrong. She thinks doing drugs helps her as an artist, but it’s gone too far. She needs help now!” says the tabloid snitch.

Gaga’s people say the story is “ridiculous.”
