Is Laverne Cox hotter as Beyonce or Frank-N-Furter? We honestly can’t tell

Bless the magical month of October for giving us not one but two freakout worthy musical performances from Laverne Cox.

We’d barely begun to recover from Cox’s awesome performance as Frank-N-Furter on FOX’s new version of “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” and now we’ve got to start all over after seeing her dominate the stage as Beyonce on “Lip Sync Battle.”

The tribute to Beyonce’s Superbowl halftime show was truly a performance worthy of Bey-hive fame. Dressed as Beyonce (from the hair down to the death-defying heels), Cox danced it out on the astroturf, singing “Lose My Breath” by Destiny’s Child. We honestly can’t figure out how she didn’t win that battle — no disrespect to the fabulous Samira Wiley.

The real question, though, is whether Laverne Cox was more stunning as Beyonce or Frank-N-Furter.

Both performances showed off her serious moves, but we got to hear her vocal stylings on “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” which might give it a bit of an edge. There’s really nothing like a belted performance of “Sweet Transvestite,” and we’re not sure even Destiny’s child can top it.

Whichever you prefer, it’s hard to deny that Cox owns the stage wherever she goes. Can someone get working on “Hamilton” live already so we can see her rap it out as Lafayette or Angelica Schuyler. We’re not picky, just put this girl in the room where it happens!
