It’s bring your baby to a crime scene day on ‘Lethal Weapon’ (EXCLUSIVE)

What do you do when you have trouble finding a babysitter at the last-minute? If you’re Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) on “Lethal Weapon,” you take the baby to work with you — even if that means the scene of a particularly gruesome murder.

In the above first look at the Nov. 16 episode of series, “Fashion Police,” Roger admits that his nanny ingested spoiled milk, leaving him with very few options. No matter, though — he pulls off the baby carrier look well, as he and Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) investigate a dead body that’s been stuffed inside of a duffel bag.

“You’ve got something strapped to the front of you,” Riggs says. “You’re just wearing children as jewelry nowadays.” Murtagh quickly quips back, “It’s called work-life balance.” However you slice it, Murtagh is a dad to the very end.

Adding a baby to the dynamic of the quintessential buddy cops will surely make for some interesting developments — in case you didn’t think these two were sarcastic enough with each other before.

Given how the case seems tied to the drug trade, hopefully Murtagh is able to find someone to watch his baby. He doesn’t want his own flesh and blood to be put in harm’s way. Then again, given who we’re talking about, he might have already taught his youngest daughter how to defend herself.
