Funny guys Jason Segel and Jack Black have added a rock edge to “Little Drummer Boy” this holiday season.

This song is the actors’ rendition of the 1977 classic, which was originally performed in a duet by David Bowie and Bing Crosby. The Gulliver’s Travels co-stars teamed up to rework the classic Christmas carol into an animated video.

“This old chestnut was dying to be rockified…enjoy,” Jack says on their choice of song.

The remake titled, “Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy 2010,” is being sold online with proceeds going to the Doctors Without Borders charity and Blue Star Families (bluestarfam.org), a nonprofit organization that was started by military families. It works to make the lives of military families a little easier by supporting them and offering solutions.

“BSF is extremely grateful for this gift,” explained Mark D. Smith, the Executive Director of Blue Star Families. “This gesture serves as wonderful example of the strong support our military families enjoy for all their sacrifices from the civilian community across the country. We would like to especially thank Jack Black and Jason Segel for their generosity.”

Gulliver’s Travels opens in theaters on Dec. 22.
